When I was six months old, they circumcised me, when I was two years old, they cut out my tonsils, when I was 11, they cut out my burst gangrenous Appendix. When I was 22, I had nose surgery for a deviated septum. I broke my nose when a door slammed in my face in PS 17.

When I was 34, they cut out my Gallbladder because of gallstones. Last August 27th 2008 I had my entire Multi-nodular Thyroid gland excised.

Every year, my dermatologist Dr Khasak excises about four inches of my skin infected with Hidradenitis. And sadly, I am getting worse. As time goes on, I am becoming more sicker due to aging. My eye doctor Dr Eva Yan says I have cataracts in both eyes. My left eye is 10% clouded and when it gets to 50% the lens must be cut out and replaced with plastic.

I require surgery on my spinal chord, I suffer chronic pain from Spinal Stenosis in my neck. I refuse to have the surgery, as I fear I will not survive it. both joints in my shoulders need replacement. both hip sockets need replacing.
Every single disc in my back requires replacement. I have thrombotic hemorrhoids and a herniated rectum.

Somehow, I feel like Elizabeth Taylor with all this surgery. It's amazing that my body still works with all these missing body parts. What is happening to me is enough to make one lose his will to live. When I tell my friends, they all say that.

Even worse, my Mom still thinks I should get married! NUTS!

When I told my doctor all of this, he said, "I have a hospital full of very sick patients who would gladly have their legs cut off, to be as healthy and strong as you are!"

I complained to my doctor, "My life is spinning out of control! I have absolutely no way to steer my way thru life. My life has gone out of my control.

He said, "Hey! when you were born, you were completely helpless like a baby is supposed to be. You have no control over your birth and you do not have any control over your death! Life is funny like that!"

I began to laugh! Humor is the best medicine. It makes people feel better.
